By the Dawn’s Early Light…

This picture of the American flag at dawn was taken by me on the Intergraph (Huntsville, AL) campus on July 31, 2002.

For several years I intended to arrange something “patriotic” for July 4th, but didn’t… In 2009 I arranged, performed, and recorded a simple cello and piano duet of “The Star Spangled Banner.” For the 4th of July celebration of 2010, I added a flute part to the arrangement from the previous year.

For this re-recording I used (I should say: “played…”) a Synthogy “Ivory” piano, a solo “Synful Orchestra” cello, with a pair of Synful Orchestra flutes.
